Following our competence in the development of opto-electronic systems, Jena-Optronik has opened a further business segment: the area of security. Security at the airport, civil protection or peace keeping missions of soldiers: in all these cases the products of Jena-Optronik help to make our future noticeably safer. An important advantage is the possibility for simulation: Before a mission into unknown territory proceeds, important steps can be tested and essential data can be integrated.
The combination of optical, infra-red and radar survey turns out to be a novelty. By this sensor data fusion, mono imageries can be tied up in a packet of information an added value for our future.
