Jena, 19. Mai 2005

Jena-Optronik GmbH, a Jenoptik subsidiary in the Photonics business division, has won a major order in the security technology area. Jena-Optronik will supply an observation, reconnaissance and measuring instrument on behalf of the German Army. The order is worth around 11 million euros.

NYXUS can be used as a hand-held or fixed device.

In the development and production of the instrument Jena-Optronik GmbH applied its know-how and years of experience in complex aerospace and security projects. Its core areas of expertise are in the development and manufacture of optoelectronic systems from the visible to the infrared light range, as well as in data management.
